Before debut
- She is a Vietnamese-Australian who was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Both her parents are Vietnamese, her father is from Hanoi and her mother is from Ho Chi Minh City. With her parents, she spoke Vietnamese and traveled to Vietnam, her parents’ hometown, several times. Even after her debut, her family, including her grandparents, has settled and lives in Australia.
- She has experience learning taekwondo and ballet as a child. The reason she learned taekwondo, she says, was because her grandfather worked at a taekwondo academy. When she was in the lower grades of elementary school, she traveled to Korea with her family and she visited Gyeongbokgung Palace.
